To increase clarity and transparency, SAP Business One created the “Type” column in the document table, to allow users to incorporate special line types in marketing documents.
- “Text” is for adding a line of description for users to emphasize any important information related to the items above or below.
- “Alternative” indicates that the item that appears in this line is an alternative item and should not be included in the document total.
- “Subtotal” is for calculating a subtotal when necessary.
